ASCD Curriculum Handbook Distribution Policy

We encourage subscribers to the ASCD Curriculum Handbook to take full advantage of the contents of the Handbook, within these guidelines:

The subscriber has permission to make paper copies of part of the materials in the ASCD Curriculum Handbook for fair use, such as staff development or curriculum committee meetings, provided that duplication is for an educational purpose in a not-for-profit institution, the resulting copies are made available without charge beyond the cost of reproduction, and each copy contains a full citation of the source.
The permission to copy does not extend to copying the complete Handbook, or any complete chapter. Permission does not transfer to those persons given reproduced materials by the subscriber.
The Curriculum Handbook Web site contains all of the material included in the print version of the Handbook, as well as additional material available only online. We encourage you to print paper copies of the Web site material (in accordance with the guidelines above), but we do not allow copying or distribution of the contents in an electronic form.
